I may not remember your name

Or react when you are near

I may not seem exactly the same

But I am still here.

I may not remember what we did today

But I can still feel

I may not recall the right word to say

But I am still here.

It may seem like a waste of your time

When you visit me

But when I feel your loving hand in mine

I know I’m still here.
